What We Do

Foresight Foundation is an Arizona nonprofit corporation (“Foresight”) with a community based mission to promote and support economic and community development through investments in minority-owned enterprises, housing, education, and healthcare while promoting the business case for diversity, both social and financial.

The Foresight Foundation leadership team has over 100 years combined experience in community economic development related work for and with other entities with the goal of improving outcomes within the underserved/underrepresented communities.

Foresight intends to use federal programing to leverage investments into businesses, service agencies, and other organizations in underserved communities to generate measurable social and environmental impact, alongside a financial return, in the following targeted areas:

Partnership with Raza

Foresight plans to venture with the Raza Development Fund (RDF), which is a CDFI (Community Development Financial Institutions Fund).

Community Development Financial Institutions, CDFIs, are lenders that have received approval from the Treasury Department to play a critical role in the economy by bringing investment and resources to communities that have historically been underserved.

RDF is one of the most successful CDFIs. Of the approximately 1,000 CDFIs in the United States, RDF is one of only a handful to have an investment grade rating by S&P Global Ratings.
